The Florida National Association of Realtors stated that statewide sales are up over the same period last year.

The Key West Citizen stated in an article last week that the trend for the Lower Keys is up and is expected to remain as such into summer as many buyers have stated that is when they will either return or come down.

The season for snowbirds is winding down here and unless gas prices continue to rise we will be getting the summer visitors for fishing, lobster season and many other summer activities.

Mortgage rates are remaining low and it appears short sales and foreclosures in certain areas of the keys have declined.

So if you are thinking of buying NOW would be a good time to look further into that option while there are still many bargains to be had out there.
